At The Mill, we view sustainability as a shared responsibility, one that extends beyond environmental impact to include how we support our people, strengthen our local economy, and uphold strong ethical practices. Our approach is rooted in the belief that true sustainability requires a balance of environmental care, social equity, and long-term economic resilience.
From working with local suppliers to paying all team members a living wage, we embed sustainability into the way we operate each day. We’ve also made tangible environmental investments, including the installation of 96 rooftop solar panels, with live energy production data displayed at our reception to promote transparency and awareness.
Our commitments are underpinned by measurable goals: reducing energy and water usage by 5% by the end of 2025, introducing enhanced waste segregation systems in Q3 2025, and integrating circular economy principles by early 2026.
Below, you’ll find the specific actions and targets that make up our sustainability strategy, designed to help us grow responsibly, contribute positively to our community, and create lasting value for all.
