Services to our residents

The Mill has a full-time experienced Business Development Manager whose primary responsibility is to assist resident companies to develop & grow their businesses. He is also responsible for the day to day managing of The Mill.

Get the support, encouragement & advice you need to ensure your business is on a sound footing and on a growth path. You can count on confidentiality, wise words and encouragement to action. All Millers have the opportunity to avail of mentoring free of charge. We are a registered charity and our primary reason for establishing The Mill was to ensure that start-ups and local businesses have access to the relevant expertise and facilities, which will assist them to expand in the area.

Our Mentor Panel

A mentor panel made up of people experienced in different sectors & aspects of business has been established. A specialist mentor can be assigned to a resident, at no cost, for a set period of time. Specialist clinics will also take place on a regular basis. In addition, experienced entrepreneurs will be invited to The Mill to share their experiences from time to time

Our in-house mentor is Sean MacEntee and we also have access to an extensive list of local specialist mentors who work with The Mill on a pro bono basis, to ensure that our companies have the best chance of succeeding and prospering in the future.

Sean has 9 years’ experience of managing a campus-based Incubation Centre at Dundalk Institute of Technology working with a range of start-ups and growing businesses. He also successfully promoted a spirit of entrepreneurship amongst over 4,000 third-level students. Before that, he successfully ran his own company in Drogheda for 24 years and he currently has a business consultancy, Sapience Solutions.

Jack has over thirty years experience in senior field operation and corporate headquarter roles at Coca-Cola. He has worked in Manufacturing Operations, Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta Georgia, U.S.A, global business system implementations and more recently played a leading role in the creation of the Europe, Eurasia and Africa Global Business Service Centre in Drogheda.

Virtual Office Services

For those not yet ready to join The Mill full-time, a special ‘Virtual Office’ package is available. This service includes access to meeting rooms, freedom to use The Mill as a postal address, use of a dedicated postbox, access to mentoring services, clinics & training programmes. Ideally users of a ‘Virtual Office’ should progress to full occupancy in due course.
