Is your CV effective in relation to getting a call for interview?
Worklink are running a CV Workshop “Make your CV work for you” on Tuesday 24th June from 7pm to 9pm in The Mill, Newtown Link Road, Greenhills, Drogheda.
This workshop is intended for people who want guidance on how to write a CV and what to include in it. The session will include tips and suggestions on how to make a good first impression on a prospective employer. It will also include information on producing an effective cover letter. Worklink volunteers will be there to answer your questions and give guidance on what employers look for in job candidates.
There are 15 spaces available to unemployed jobseekers on a first-come first-served basis. Please register to confirm your attendance at this event.
Ceinwen Fergus, Worklink’s North East Regional Coordinator, said “Our workshops are informal and participants find them very helpful. We are able to provide guidance from HR professionals and career coaches who can give jobseekers useful hints on how to get their CVs noticed. We can also answer questions about other areas of job-seeking”.
Worklink is a volunteer organisation which provides information and support to unemployed jobseekers. It has been active in the North East for nearly two years and this event marks the first time that Worklink have run an event in Drogheda.
Places are free to unemployed jobseekers, but you will need to book beforehand.
